it must be the chinese new year that came right after the school started.

i have absolutely no mood to do any school related stuffs and it's already week 4.

gosh, i cannot continue going out and eating good food everyday because very soon like this,

i will forget that i'm actually an university student.

too much fun for me to the extent that..

i started coming out with all kind of excuses for procrastinating.

this semester will most probably be the most taxing one because im having 8 modules in one shot...

which means more projects and mid terms and group work and bullshit. damn.

i need to switch back if able to, immediately, so that i can start on my school work proper.

but i'm really very sick of studying and school and tests and exams and staying in hall etc.

i want to go out and have fun everyday(like what i am doing now which is in deep shit) *pulls hair*

i tried to make fun out of every module(i seriously did), but i see no joy at all in any modules FML.

okay, apart from my own psychology minors' modules where i have that extra bit of motivation..

but that's all.

i also want to eat and eat and eat and eat and dont grow fat.

anyway, i'm still waiting for February to come quick

so that i can use some discount coupon for doing my hair.

i already decided to try soft perming my hair plus doing a lighter shade.(dont ask me why i so hiao)

and this February there's like suju's concert to go to, maybe i'm going for the wicked musical too,

do my hair, make sure my guitar skills is solid cause got grading in early march (FML), and maybe seee how is it, i might just go to beast's concert. this is too SIAO.

this seems to be my subconscious mindset ever since the semester started.

the whole holiday had been wayyyyyy too much fun for me and as a result,

i have to overcome this whole inertia to even begin school properly.

properly means...

having motivation to attend lectures, do tutorials and work on things i do not know.

which... okay, let's just look forward to the chinese new year this coming monday first.

YAYYYY.

okay speaking of which, maybe i should update you guys on my weekend.

Saturday was okay. i went to run some errands and do dinner.

not to mention i went to bugis street for a while and i almost died inside.

this whole bugis street needs some serious ventilation.

then i went home at around 9pm to practise for my audition the next day.

oh audition yes, i went to try for the jyp audition on sunday.

wouldn't know the results untill end feb or early march though.

no hopes too high because at the end of the day,

i seriously do not know what they are looking for.

poor souls who practised their dance for like so freaking long..

but only managed to shake 3 seconds.

i seriously think that they based strongly on their "feel" to select successful participants.

or not why stop people when they only sing like 10 secs?

thankfully, i still have my 40 secs to sing or else..

i will feel totally like a retard to take this whole thing so seriously.

felt like i went for some adventure training camp

because it's really a very rare sight to see my whole family,

not only my family, but my cousins and all,

but the sad part is, i have to spend my christmas and christmas eve abroad.

went to change my hair colour today before flying off to HK tmr,

b'cause i was pretty much upset with my hair's outcome from the previous salon,

and hence, i will boycott them forever and ever and ever and ever.

so went to hair loft today to try to blonde my hair once again,

show you guys a few pictures!

after first round of bleaching... (okay, it kinda' look similar to the final outcome)

but after the first round of bleaching, my hair appeared rather yellowish,

nothing close to gold/blonde actually.

so, proceeded for second round of bleaching...

also did a hair treatment after that,

blowing dry and excited to see the outcome!

in the photo, i realized there's really no difference from the 2nd picture i posted.

but... there really is! the first time it was so yellow and dirty.

but the second one, it was lighter and golder.

though, the final outcome i wouldn't say it was absolute blonde...

& they wanted to bleach for the third time which i do not want.

b'cause my hair will then be really super frizzy and dry and wtf.

but i'm pretty much cool with this colour now!

(tried to play with the snow effect from picnik)

alright, shall go and pack for my trip tomorrow.

just came back from bangkok,

nothing can describe the fatigue of my poor legs.

i did have an awesome time doing thorough shopping,

buying almost anything and everything (with some resistance though)

that appeared pleasant to me.

i have not much time to catch up on beauty sleep when i'm leaving again to hongkong tmr.

honestly, i have this love-hate relationship with travelling.

okay i know, some people will say that why the fuck will i still complain when...

i can have the chance to go overseas.

i love to travel for sure, and will do so if there's any available opportunity for me to do so.

when i'm in Singapore, i always want to get out of the country.

finally back home for a while

before i embark on my last paper on 30th nov.

having four papers in a row back to back was not a joke.

although i prefer it this way though, but it was way too draining.

am having less than 5 hours of rest everyday & waking up to some serious headache.

what's worst was that i don't think i will perform that well this semester.

the greatest rape was today's chemistry paper where i literally suffered from a "blank-out"

i was like FML whilst trying to calm the shit down,

but i just couldn't think of anything at that moment.

well i guess, what will go wrong will go wrong. maybe i was meant to screw it up.

i am sleeping very soon to actually replenish some energy.

strange how this semester actually causes me to feel so drained although...

the workload was comparatively lesser than previous semesters.

i need to take a little break from all those mugging for mids,

so i decided to blog about some issues that have been mind boggling to me since forever.

until a few days ago, i somehow got an answer.

so... the question is,

can people really tell you things when they don't mean it at all?

for me, i definitely can't. and i always believe there's a reason behind everything. no?

i can't tell you things like "hey you are my bestest friend"

when you are obviously not.

"hey you are a great companion and fun to be with"

when you are obviously not.

or simple things like..
"nice knowing you"
when obviously you are a disaster.
(i might say that if i wanted to be sarcastic though, on genuine terms-NO)

i got an example. let just start off with very very simple issues.

this thing happened a few days ago when one of my close friends sent me a text message.

and he asked me whether i wanted to go for supper.

i didn't reply though and later was followed with a facebook chat..

asking whether i want to go for supper.

so i say, okay, since i'm home, let's go.

then he say " LOL, just kidding, you don't need to study ah?"

(he's one of my better friends so i wouldn't mind if he reads this)

then i pondered to myself, then why did you even asked me in the first place?

actually this scenario didn't happened just once,

i have encountered many people who ask me things but later on, treat it like a joke.

and i find out later on that he's really not keen on going supper.

it's not a very ridiculous and infeasible question...

it's not as if you ask me whether to go

and bungee jump at 230am when im about to go to bed.

then i asked him, why do you asked me if you don't mean it?

or are you waiting for me to see whether i'm really keen on going with you?

to see that if i do keep bugging you to go supper after u suggested

then you will finally agree?

i always read too much into things, maybe.

then he told me there is really no reason and he asked me out of fun,

with no intention to go for supper.

then he followed by telling me,

he needs to study for the mid term too and already no time still go supper,

and he has no money now. (never make the supper sound like a 10 course meal in fullerton hotel)

and then.... you make me sound like i'm the one who initiated?

so am i wrong to slightly insist on going after you suggested?

or am i not supposed to insist on supper-ing because you are broke and need to study.

okay, this supper issue is really nothing.

but it drives me to a point, why do people ask/say things without any intention?

so after i questioned him about this thing, i began to realize that

but with no intention of going AT ALL and in fact already have trip planned during that period.

but when the actual day comes,

totally forgotten about this mention and in fact don't listen to chinese pop.

maybe because i always take people too seriously.

if i deemed the person as "good-enough-to-trust"

i will give them the full credit first, then penalize them if they prove me wrong.

which is absolutely silly.

talks are cheap, i know,

but i can never really understand till i'm slowly exposed to more situations like this.

the funny part of me is that i always attract people..

who have this VERY STRONG PASSION in getting to know me. (i'm serious)

BUT later on, after i get attached to them in one way or another,

finally here.

but the queue for H&M grand opening was crazy...

& yes.. i am crazy enough to be in the queue!

swear this is going to be the first and the last time for me to queue for such things!

they did give a goodie bag with a H&M bracelet which says "finally here"

& also magazine and umbrella and a 20 dollars voucher for the first 300.
but well.... it was REALLY an unforgettable experience.

so because it was dammmm crowded,

you feel kind of lazy to queue to try clothes(swear the fitting room's queue was WTFBBQ)

ended up only spend less than 1/2 hour in the shop.

it's been a while.

i enjoy having slow paced university life like what i'm exactly going through now,

but ironically, i kinda miss how busy i was during the first year of my university.

and because i have a more tight timetable to adhere to previously,

there isn't pretty much time like this whereby i have nothing better to do.

(apart from attempting boring tutorials and covering look-a-like study materials)

life has been changing and reshuffling for me,

and many a times, i'm being left pretty much alone to see what awaits me.

i begin to learn that as much as companion is important,

it's a sad fact that afterall, everyone only have themselves to rely on.

it's quite interesting in every walks of my life/day of my week,

there's something for me to take away apart from just attending lectures and tutorials,

i begin to witness for myself the many sides of human beings..

as much as we all know the cliche statement of don't judge a book by it's cover,

it can be so true if you actually experience it personally.

you know, i begin to get more and more skeptical about humanity,

and what life is all about.

i use to think that our life can be a bed of roses if we want it to be,

but sadly, a lot of things in life(pretty much like death)

we can't really have ultimate control over it.

we just have to take it as a day by day basis,

regardless of whether we like it or not.

NTU have finally given me a hostel accommodation... yesterday.
although i am not allocated back to my original hall,
but guess i will just move in and see how things go.

met my roomie today though,
thankfully, he is a Singaporean........
he actually pasted a note on my desk saying something like..

the problem with me is that,

i always break my walls down too easily for people to come in.

i always think that if people are slightly more sincere or passionate in wanting to be my friend,

or if they somehow show enough sincerity that they are worthy of my time,

22nd(4th part)

don't ask me why i didn't do my birthday post with my family in the 1st part,

i also don't know why. but nonetheless, i still love them.

okay, as you guys know, i've gotten myself a dog named cody.

and it's a gift from my dad.

and partly because he always wanted to have a dog at home,

and since i wanted it, and he likes it,

so he decided to get cody for me as a birthday gift!

awesome much.

and i did have a birthday cake too,

and because i got quite a bit of birthday cake(s) this year,

my mum thought it was an excuse for her to get a small one for me.

i actually wanted to have goodwoodpark durian cake on my birthday!

but BAH, my mum said aiyah, i got so many cakes already...

BLAH BLAH BLAH.

i think she is just so lazy to get lah and give me excuses.

but still okay, cause after that right,

she keep offering to buy me durian related stuffs(from goodwoodpark)

like durian puffs,crepes..

and even bought me a small durian cake from emicakes.

i think she got guilty 到 lor.

i didn't post this photo up on facebook because all three of us looked CUI TTM.

it was taken close to midnight.

and we are all like in zombie mood.

but welll, i just post here lah.

so apart from my dad who gave me cody as a gift,

my mum treated me to the line buffet at shangri-la.

their buffet was..... *hyperventilates* awesome.

and their food all comes in quite decent portion.

(for example like if you asked for a bowl of laksa,

it's comparable to one bowl of laksa at your ah heng's kopitiam portion, get it?)

22nd (part 2)

My university friends

we went to dine at il lido in sentosa,

initially wanted to go forlino

but they got a private event on that day, so oh wellz...

but i did went there to celebrate with another friend though.

okay il lido was also well known for their pasta.

but personally, i do not like their dishes,
maybe it's just taste and preferences.

and i think to dine there at night was a bad choice too,

the view was black and lame.
so (if) you wanna go, try the day time. then tell me about it.

& this is my main, so much for not eating vegetables huh.

they got me an apple martini cake for my birthday....

& it was kinda smudged at the side when the waiter took it out i think.

and not forgetting a really 22 candle to remind me how young i am.

they actually baked a cake for me! OMG.

untill now im still like OMG.

but because they were first timers,

the cream that they put on top of the cake destroyed the whole outcome.

so they actually took a MMS to show me how cui the cake was...

but i insisted on having the cake,

so they cut out a quarter and pass it to me!

i mean people bake a cake for you die die also you want and must try right!

and IT'S NOT REALLY BAD, IT'S DECENT ENOUGH TO EAT LOR!

awwww... so naise of them.

22nd(part 1)

hello guys, while feeling lazy on my bed,

i think i should start on my 1st post regarding my 22nd.

this year 22nd was good, i mean..

it have to be good since it's my birthday right?

afterall, what's so not good about when i have all my awesome friends around.

let me start off with blogging about what happen on the real day.

29 june.

woke up around 530am...

and went to have mac breakfast w my guys before heading off to bintan.

this is the first time i'm spending my birthday abroad.

although bintan was not that awesome..........

as it seemed on all the advertising photos and blah,

and although i didnt managed to play all the sea sports that i wanted to..

(in fact the ONLY sea sports we do was KAYAKING)

please tell me cannot do in sentosa.

you know why.

because it was raining!!!!! FML.

totally ruined the whole sea sports plan.

but apart from that,

it was compensated with awesome company

and a very nice & huge bungalow for stayover.

& because it was a weekday, the whole bintan island seemed so quiet,

sort of like we almost had the whole island to ourselves.

what's best was during the night,

we even have the chance to gaze upon a sky full of stars!

it was the nicest view i ever ever witnessed in my entire life(for stars lah)

how naise.
it was almost like god's birthday gift for me,

but too bad no matter how i try to capture a photo of it,

it doesn't do justice to it.......so i gave up.

this is the bungalow that we stayed in! CHIO.

and we went to the beach! the beach was quite empty too!

which i like! empty and quiet.

but sadly after we got there for a while, there was a thunderstorm!

after a few tries, still like blur and fucked up. ( AND IT'S NT MY CAMERA OKAY)

so wellz, end up taking a photo ourselves!

all of us lookedddddd so barbequed!

and what else? or and soon, the night came.

so it was the monopoly deal, taiti, talk rubbish etc etc back in the bungalow!

not forgetting that my ipad was the hip for this trip too,

all of them taking turn to play.

and soon, it was the next day! all the food in bintan abit like CMI.

so i didn't really wanna blog much photos on the food,

but since we are talking about this now, i will just post all the food photos...

because of that, we were so horrified that we skipped our lunch,
